The Commodore of the Watersportvereniging Hoorn, WV Hoorn, has the pleasure in inviting sailors to participate in the 2008 International Laser Event (later to be called I.L.E.) to be held at Hoorn from May 15th through to May 17th 2009.
Entry and registration
The entry closing date is 11 May 2009.Late entries will be charged an additional fee of € 10,00.
The registration office is open on Thursday May 14 from 14h00 - 22h00, all other days from 08h00 hrs till the end of the races.
Extra Information :
The venue will be the Yachtclub WV Hoorn, in Hoorn, the Netherlands. The historic town of Hoorn is situated approximately 30 km north of Amsterdam.
The races will be sailed on the Southern part of the IJsselmeer (Markermeer). The racing area is non-tidal and has fresh water.

To enter the Regatta, competitors must submit to the organising committee, a completed official entry form, from the event website www.laserklasse.nl/ile/ no later than May 11th 2009. The entry fee must be paid in advance. Entrancefee is Eur 70,--

Copies of Sailing Instructions will be available from the Race Office on the day before the regatta.
The Organising Authority may require competing boats to carry event-sponsoring advertising. Such advertising shall be affixed in accordance with the Sailing Instructions. Nothing applied to hulls by the Organising Authority may be changed or removed during the regatta without written approval of the Organising Authority.
All competitors shall complete registration at the venue no later than 10.00 hrs. on May 15th 2009.

By participating in the I.L.E. , an athlete automatically grants to the Organising Authority and the sponsors of the event the right, in perpetuity, to make, use and show, from time to time and at their discretion, any motion pictures and live, taped or filmed television and other reproductions of him/her during the period of the competition without compensation.
